Chaque année nous sommes bénévoles au kiosque de présentation de l'APETUL (Association des Parents Étudiant ou Travaillant à l'Université Laval) ou j'ai étudié au doctorat. Cette année, nous tenions une permanence au local de l'association ou nous avons accueillis les parents et nouveaux membres de l'association.

Summer 2010

We had a WONDERFUL summer!

The children all went to day camp all summer long and the rest of the time, we enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather and the outdoors together!

Nous avons eu un MAGNIFIQUE été!

Les enfants sont allés tout l'été au camp de jour Saint-Sacrement et ils ont adoré!!! Le reste du temps nous avons profité du soleil et du plein air :-)

End of year party at Leigh's daycare

At the end of the year, Leigh's daycare held a graduation celebration with a delicious buffet.She is on the left here on this picture of the little show they had prepared. She went there 2-3 days per week from Jan to June and loved it!!!

Fête de fin d'année à la garderie de Leigh

À la fin de l'année, la garderie (crèche) de Leigh a tenue une petite fête pour les finissants, ainsi qu'un succulent buffet. Elle est sur la gauche sur cette photo du spectacle. eigh est allée à la garderie 2-3 jours par semaine de janvier à juin.

Expo-Passions-Projets

André and his dad had a table where they presentend the 3D animation software MAYA, at the Expo-Passions-Projets exhibit, where homeschooling families in Quebec present their projects and interests with visitors!

Nude with violin (pièce de théâtre en Anglais)

Les bénévoles du Jeffrey Hale étaient invités à une présentation privée de la pièce de théâtre Nude with Violin et j'ai eu le privilège d'en bénéficier. J'étais vraiment heureuse de retrouver toutes les mamans des activités du Jeffrey Hale et aussi tous les amis anglophones que je vois pas si souvent!

Volunteers from the Jeffrey Hale were offered a private showing of the play Nude with Violin and I was privileged to be a part of that. It was so much fun to be with all the other moms from the Jeffrey Hale moms activities and also to see several friends that I have not met in a while!

Pièce de théâtre des élèves anglophones "Into the Woods"

Nous sommes allés ensemble voir une production locale de "Into the Woods", une comédie musicale produite par les élèves du Quebec High School.

C'était amusant! Sophia avait peur de la méchante sorcière et en parle encore...André et Leigh se sont plaint que ce soit tout en Anglais... ;-)

In the Woods - the Play

We all went to see a local production of "In the Woods", a musical produced by the students at Quebec High School.

It was fun! Sophia was afraid of the mean witch and still talks about her...André and Leigh were a bit bored because it was all in English ;-)

Homeschooling is cool!

Today, Leigh and Sophia were at daycare so André and I took a walk outside. Here is a picture of André eating icecream in front of his old school.

Aujourd'hui, Leigh et Sophia étaient à la garderie et André et moi sommes allés prendre une petite marche. Ici une photo de Peti Po (André) entrain de déguster une crème glacée devant son ancienne école ;-)

Ballet

We received free tickets to see a ballet tonight by the students at the Chritiane-Bélanger dance school and we went with our friend Annie-Pierre and her daughters.

It was a fine evening! Thanks to Accès-Loisirs for the free tickets!

Spectacle de danse

Nous avons reçu des billets gratuits pour voir ce soir le spectacle des élèves de l'école de danse Christiane-Bélanger et nous y sommes allées avec notre amie Annie-pIerre et ses deux filles.

Ce fut une belle soirée! Un gros merci à Accès-Loisirs pour ces billets!
